Students will use the library database to obtain a minimum of 7 peer reviewed research articles that speak to the concept of their special topic/special population. Students will later use this document to help create their final assignment which is their Summary and Recommendation paper, so selected articles should include information about the population that the student wishes to address in the final assignment. Special topic/special population: African American and the criminal justice system An annotated bibliography is a document where you cite important articles and then summarize them in context of the paper you intend to write. There should be two brief paragraphs per entry; the first paragraph summarizes the article, the second paragraph should discuss how this article supports or adds to the paper the student will write.
