Censorship and the Monument Debate

Throughout this semester we will apply what we learn in Living with Art to a discussion of public monuments. Our purpose is to have conversations that build teamwork communication social responsibility and critical thinking skills in preparation for the group project: a position statement on what should be done with monuments that have recently come under criticism. Note: This topic can stir very strong emotions. Please keep your postings professional and focused on the required information. Listen to each other and be thoughtful. Avoid inappropriate language and treat the diverse perspectives of all members of your group with respect. Before we get started view this video from Brown University.
