Question 2 (KW)

When poll numbers from surveys were taking by different people across the country the results would show a high percentage of the population feels that the government is doing badly. This of course ranges between different aspects such as protection of jobs, the economy and how well has the government been able to help minimized deaths while setting up testing centers. I will also add this is one of many of the government’s specific responsibilities that goes along with tracing/tracking the virus and distributing protective equipment for those on the front line.

China is being accused for the production of the virus and many feel they should be responsible for suppressing information considering how there are so many theories. One being animal products placed in markets that may have been infected by the virus and  many humans being exposed to it which eventually lead them to get sick. Each person infected with the virus is likely to infect three others doubling in size within days from contracting it creating a large epidemic. Though it’s not easy to pin point the person or thing that has triggered the outbreak the fact remains this has now changed the world and we are now forced to just roll with whatever this out break gives us. There were many warning signs address by doctors in China which was shared through social media, however it wasn’t taken seriously by United States government.

To slim down my research I plan to focus on the states of  Kansas city, MO, St. Louis, MO, and Los Angeles. Shelters are slim and protests are becoming a problem in all three cities. It’s at the point now where tents are set up in the most busiest areas of each city to grasp the attention from their local officials. In Kansas City, MO. arenas have open up on selected days to assist with a limited number of people to sleep, St. Louis on the other hand has a “tent city” in the heart of downtown St. Louis, MO. across from city hall awaiting mayors response to the problem. Across the way in Los Angeles. CA, homeless camps grows by the day causing people who lives in those particular areas to leave their homes and seek another place to live even if it’s out the city entirely which means more money loss in the economy.
