In no less than 100 words and no more than 200 words identify a nutrition-related topic and briefly explain the significance of this topic (eg. why are you interested and why should your audience should be interested int it). 2. Attach to your initial post the full-copy of a peer-reviewed primary research article (in pdf format) that is related to the topic of your interest. The article must meet ALL criteria below to receive credits a. Published in a peer-reviewed journal (not a health magazine or website or other non-peer viewed sources). b. Published no earlier than May 2018. c. Reflect a primary quantitative research where the authors designed their study collected and analyzed the data themselves. Articles based on secondary data where data were already collected by others are note acceptable. Articles that are reviews by nature are not accepted. Articles that are reviews by nature include but are not limited to: reviews perspectives expert opinions guidelines position statements consensus reports systemic reviews and meta-analyses. 3. Read the full article you selected carefully. 4. Briefly summarize the article of your selection. A good summary includes key information on the purpose of study study design what data were collected how the data were collected how the data were analyzed findings conclusions and limitations. Make sure to describe the human participants animal model cells or molecules used in the study. 5. Clearly state at least one independent variable and one dependent variable from the article. 6. Provide the full reference of the article you selected in APA format at the end of your post.
