These experiments with color are very different from previous uses and functions of color in the art of the past and transformed painting. Select 3 different works by 3 different artists that demonstrate the importance of color in the avant-garde of the late 19th and early 20th century. You may select examples from movements such as: Fauvism die Brücke (German Expressionism) Der Blaue Reiter (the Blue Rider) or from the work of Cézanne Van Gogh or Gauguin. Your paper should include: – A detailed color analysis for each of the 3 paintings.: 1-Discuss the importance of color for each selected painting with precise and thorough examples for each of the works.
