high and low frequency sight verb: Corpus analysis vs Dictionary vs EFL learners’ intuition

My professor sent me the following note :

Again, I believe in the potential of your work, and I would like to share with you the following ideas. 1. Introduction. I think your introduction is a bit too long. I believe you should highlight the relevance of your study, and its value for you as a teacher and for EFL teachers in our community in general. Some parts can be moved to the literature review. Adding some anecdotal examples can shed some valuable light on the importance of the topic you address. 2. The storyline (which will also be reflected in the of the research questions). Are we going to start by looking at the data in the corpus, then the dictionaries, and then student mastery? I am not sure that is optimal. I have added a suggested outline at the end of the document.
