When an athlete is injured, they typically have normal emotional reactions. It is important for anyone working with athletes to understand the common psychological responses to injury as well as problematic responses. The purpose of this assignment is to recruit your critical thinking skills and discuss the biopsychosocial model as it pertains to emotional response to injury.
