Investigating Social Class as a factor in educational achievement with a particular emphasis on language acquisition and language codes

This is a literature review style dissertation, also known as library based dissertation reviewing the arguments and knowledge surrounding the research topic. I am looking at social class and language usage and how this impacts education. The key theories include Bernstein and Labov and review of these arguments. The other key focus includes how the education system views non standard languages and different views and approaches regarding these language ideologies. This part is mentioned in chapter 4 but i think this will be the main focus.

I have included the table of content example for a literature review style dissertation. Attached also includes the plan and journal articles.

A theoretical perspectives chapter is required between the introduction and first theme-based chapter – the structure has to make sense for you what you are including and arguing.
