Milestone 2: Practice Drawing the Supply Chain for a Company

Supply of Coca cola drink
The cocacola company is one of the global leading soft drink production firm.
The company manufactures the cocacola drink.
The process of production begins locally where the have to get raw materials from the farmers.
The supply chain of this products has two tier levels. The supply and the customers.
Tier 1 suppliers are those that deal with the company directly and give their produces.
Tier 2 are those that do not sell to the firm directly.
Vanilla flavoring and cherry flavoring are examples of the 2nd tier.

Supply of Coca cola drink
Vanilla and cherry flavoring together with glass and aluminum are the indirect suppliers of the company.
Vanilla and cherry flavoring takes their products to the coke concentrate plants which is the tier 1 supplier of products.
Glass and aluminum also takes their products to the packaging facility in to make cans which will be used to package the drink. After the packaging facility has finished, it then takes them to the coca cola company.
After the drink is ready and fully packaged the distribution starts
There is the tier 1 and 2 levels of customers. The 1st tier has the retailers like for example, supermarkets, wholesalers, who the products ready to sell them again.

The vending machines work directly from the company to the main consumers.
Unlike the retailers who and sell them again.
The retailers and sell them to the consumers who drink them.
The vending machines sell to the consumers directly.
