As a mechanical engineering student, I focused on creating an artifact that would help to ease most of the situations realized after a hard day at work or after a busy week. Besides, the artifact is based from the knowledge of various environments and activities that are done in my country. However, the artifact qualifies to meet international standards of usage and implementation in various circumstances and environments. One of the most participated fun activity that favors both old and young people deal with the use and the availability of water. for this purpose and reason, my artifact matches with the respective circumstance and environment. The artifact is a type of kayak that is easily maneuvered and controlled. An additional setting and ideas in the particular artifact are the supper slim and light structure that enables it to be managed and navigated easily. The artifact in this case would be the class presentation from the communication skills class. Whereby the instructor assigned each of us to talk about ourselves in detail, in terms of a presentation in front of the class. I clearly remember this because after a few times of working on this artifact I was able to be a better communicator or rather; have confidence when communicating. Which was the purpose of assigning this course, as it built us to be better communicators or at least have a foundation.
The experience helped me achieve my Hallmark goal mainly because I was able to have confidence and communicate in front of other people. This happen so whereby I built the rapport with expressing myself from people I am used to; which did not seem so hard when it came to strangers. Therefore, this helped me to achieve my Hallmark Goal, which was hard as I had a lot of challenges such as lacking something to talk about in the first trials of this artifact.
The experience of producing the artifact supported my understanding of the Hallmark in the sense that I had to go through the first humiliating experiences of not communicating well, or bowing my head down while talking; so that at the end of the day I was able to be a better communicator prepared for the workplace. In this scenario, the artifact would have been to enhance communication skills for the other students, a skill I get from one of the numerous communication skills programs. The artifacts in the hallmarks core have highly impacted my personality. Unlike the times I was a bit young and unexperienced am now experience when it comes to interaction and working with people. Collaborative creation enhances the ways in which people interact and socialize with other people. While in schools, this is made possible as students are given assignments to do together. The school as a whole is an area where team work is needed. This due to the impossibility of a student passing and claiming the main reason of being in school without teamwork and interaction. While in work places, people need to work together in to be mor productive.
In some cases, it is possible to do a task and be successful as an individual. But many cases are where a person need to work with a group in to be successful. Group work and collaboration is highly needed in life daily deeds. This is because working as a group is more successful than working on a task personally or as individual. Like for example, in a business organization it is very impossible for a manager to think that the company will be successful without collaborating with the employees. The employees are key towards the production of best and quality products.
A common system should be implemented in all areas. Be it in school or work organization. This will help bring together all the people in that organization. An organization that has all the people together means that they work together. And if they work together, they will always be successful. Thus, collaboration and team work should begin from the top to the other people. The people from the top/leaders should implement rules that bring all the workers together. In each and everything they do

Collaborative creation requires different skills in to be successful. These include team and project management, collaboration skills and even cooperative learning. Team and project management is a skill in which all people are entitled to accomplish the same task. Creating teams in an organization bring different people together. Teams/groups enhance the outcomes of the project that they were doing. Philosophers say that working as teams have better outcomes as compared to work as an individual. This is because two minds are better than one. While in a group, you will be able to share ideas that will improve the work being done.
To bring people together, a management group needs to be created. The management will be in charge of ensuring that all the people in the group are brought together by the same task. Take an example of a learning institution. Groupworks are meant to accomplish an assignment. The groups always have a leader who ensures that all the individuals meet to accomplish the assignment. The assignment also brings the individuals together as they all have to work together.
Cooperative learning is also a way of enhancing collaboration. Cooperative learning tends to split people into small groups where they have to accomplish a task. These kinds of skills are so important as they will improve the mind of the people as well as tighten the bond between these people. People who work in groups and compete with other groups always tend to bond well so that they may emerge as winners. This is observed in all areas of activities. In schools, dances, work, and many others. All the individual’s bond to gather and follow the rules they have implemented. These helps them all to interact well.

The school hosts people from different cultures and communities. This act has improved my intercultural insight. Intercultural insights help improve the ways in which people from different backgrounds interact. As an engineer, I am sure that in my future career work, I will have to interact with people from different areas as I seek for jo or as I work. Intercultural insight experienced from the school will help improve how I will interact with these people. In school, we are given assignment in which we are required to do as a group. The interaction within the groups improves a person view of culture. From the groups, we get to interact with people from different ethnics.

This mainly on how as a person view each other and learn how to view a person’s character as that of the other. In short, viewing situations from another person’s perspective. It also builds strong interaction skills. This learning goal intends to create characters within a person that will help them understand each other. Before joining the school, I grew up in an area where I would only interact with people who have the same characters as I am. In short, people whom we practiced the same culture activities. Due to this I never got to interact with people from other cultures. Soon as I joined the school, I would meet with people who did things totally different from what I did.
