The research title and research question is The iPad as a tool for teaching and learning in UKS2 (Year 5 and 6): An exploration of perception and experiences of teachers. The literature review must be structured according to the Research Question. The structure of the literature review should be as follows:

 

Role of technology in classrooms – also include discussion on teacher as facilitator with technology (change from behaviourist to constructivist theory)

 

Discussion on iPads – increased use of iPads, especially during lockdown

 

Discussion on the impact that iPads have – student’s engagement, motivation and academic achievements, include parental engagement as well

 

Perception and experiences of teachers using iPads for teaching and learning – also include barriers/concerns of using technology in lessons and technology professional development/training

 

Each of the four sections needs a review of the literature for that section only. For example, whilst discussion the impact that iPads have (looking at literature related to this topic) should only be based on this topic and not mix with the other three sections.
