I completely agree with that statement as well as the blame people put on themselves for others actions towards them. One can not control the actions of others for example when she mentioned cheating many people make te reason for their partner cheating their fault when it is not. It has to do with the person that cheated blaming yourself for other people’s actions will cause immense damage. As well as the statement “I forgive you” shouldn’t hold empty meaning you should truly forgive and thank them because it is a lesson learned on your part. Such as Stephanie mentioned it is awakening and an opportunity for you to grow.You open up doors that are closed, you become more self aware, when you are put in a hurtful situation such as betrayal etc. Forgiving a person isn’t only for the only person but it is for you.
