· It is mandatory for teachers to create an online class environment that is full of respect whereby diversity is valued and all individuals feel that their contributions are acknowledged.
· Instructors should understand that in the classroom there are those familiar with online matters while some may be new to it therefore, they should take time to understand each person’s capabilities.
· For those that are not new in online classes it is essential and also a show of respect to teach and help others when they may get stuck.
· It is also important for the instructors to connect with their students at a personal level so as to promote positive relationship with students thus creating a more conducive environment.

Students support

· Student support is another solution for adult online classes and creating a conducive environment for them.
· For example, the institution may create an emergency kit that would help other adults in navigating the learning management system.
· It is also important for the college or university to share the support staff contact with adult students because at the end of the day a system must be put in place to help them and incase of any complaints or feedback about the system.
· Create a conducive learning environment in which the students will interact and help one another thus promoting teamwork and interpersonal connections
