modifications. Data structures help you to arrange your data in a manner that helps you to store, relate
and execute data collections and operations on them accordingly. Python encourages its users to build
their own data structures that allow their features to be completely managed by them. Stack, Queue,
Tree, Linked List, and so on are the most popular data structures open to you in other programming
languages as well.
Task 1 – Submit a work proposal for this assignment which must include:
• Understanding of deliverables – a detail description of deliverables.
• General overview of proposed plan – initial understanding of solution to tasks. Specify the
Information system selected for the assignment.

Task 2
Python has been used in numerous areas worldwide, such as website making, artificial
intelligence, and many more. Yet data plays a very critical part in making all of this happen,
which ensures that this data can be processed securely and retrieved in a timely manner.
Python has tacit support for data systems that allow information to be stored and
accessed by you. List, Dictionary, Tuple and Set are the names of these structures.
a. Discuss the role of Data Structures in data management within Information
System? Analyze the features of various types of Data Structures used in
Python. [ 20 Marks ]
b. Demonstrate realistic execution of any three types of data structures within a
valid process for an information system. [ 20 Marks ]
Task 3
In computer science, the analysis of algorithms is the process of finding the computational
complexity of algorithms – the amount of time, storage, or other resources needed to
execute them.
Discuss the algorithm for recursion method that takes in a string and returns a
reversed copy of the string and also Write a Program using the same algorithm for
recursion. The only inbuilt string function you are allowed to use is string
concatenation. [ 20 Marks ]

Task 4
Sometimes, data we store or retrieve in an application can have little or no . We may
have to rearrange the data to correctly process it or efficiently use it. As a programmer,
you have to deal with large amounts of data from time to time. This data needs to be
sorted in a logical manner. Sorting and searching can be achieved in Python through the
use of simple statements and algorithms.
Discuss the basic Sorting Algorithms and Searching Algorithms in Python, provide a
suitable example to demonstrate the application of the algorithms discussed.

Identify a short term MOOC course related to Data Analytics using Python. Join the course and
successfully complete it. After completion please provide –
i. Summary of the course
ii. Discuss the various types of data analytics techniques
iii. Proof of completion

Detailed analysis should be presented by the student. Reference can be taken from case studies
and real life scenarios. No of words can be limited to Total 1500 words approx. Proper references
and citations should be given throughout the discussion.
